When sandal season hits, the selection is so overwhelmingly expansive that it’s almost impossible to pick… I want one of everything! But since that’s not the most logical and economical route, I do try to be some-what practical. So instead of over doing it, I try and purchase very different styles from one another. I mean shoes can make or break an outfit so I take my selection process very seriously ;-).
I compiled my top 6 picks for this Spring/Summer – I’ve gone with a classic but casual sandal, the open toed look, the wedge, a slide sandal, and a strappy heal.
The Classic Sandal
This is a spring and summer must have. It’s a sophisticated flat sandal that will give you your casual look but with a classic appeal. I had a similar pair a couple years ago and I wore them almost every day.
The Open Toed Sandal
The open toe sandal is a staple in every woman’s closet, but this trendy take on a traditional style is very in this spring, and I’m in love. The neutral beige color is my favorite but I also really like the black and gray tones as well.
A Wedge is the perfect medium between dressy and casual. Yes. This particular wedge is Prada, but I’m obsessed! I still have my Prada wedges from 6 years ago and I still wear them today. They are durable, comfortable, and so freaking cute! Right here is a different brand but one of my favorites.
The Slide Sandal
A minimalist slide is going to be very versatile and also popular this season. I love the Tory Burch slide sandal in gold (or any color 😉). It is so classic but adds a vintage appeal. Plus it goes with everything.
The Strap Sandals
The strap sandal with a heel is a must have in every girls closet. I love this sandal as a spring staple, and I’m deciding between all three colors (cause I love them all) but I also picked this one. It’s not my usual staple, but I thought this shoe screamed spring and is so darn cute! I also love the navy colors.
The Flip Flop
Every girl needs a flip flop. They are an essential for the beach and summer. I love the classic Tory Burch flip flop, but if you’re on a budget Michael Kors does the flip flop well and at a reasonable price. The photo up above are my Michael Kors, but I do love my Tory flip flops too!
